Brokenhearted, we mourn the loss of our son, brother and friend…Anthony Chavous Jr.
Anthony Jr, better known as “TJ” to all, fell asleep in death on June 1, 2020. Those who knew TJ, knew that he was an outgoing man who cared about all. Many will share stories of how, even though battling serious health issues, TJ consistently kept in contact with everyone to check on their welfare. He enjoyed keeping in close association with his family, friends, and especially those from the Bronzeville area, where TJ grew up. Those of us who knew TJ knew that for him, kind compliments flowed like a river out of his heart. He was not one to shy away from letting you know how nice your outfit looked, how dope your new hairstyle was, or how beloved of a person you were. If you needed him, he would be there….he was a firm believer in supporting others.
TJ was nothing short of a family man. He SO loved his fiancée and daughter, and devoted his life to caring for them. He was often surprising his daughter and fiancée with gifts—most often, out of the blue! Even through difficult limitations, TJ was an awesome provider and dad. He fought to take care of his family and ensure their safety. If he were here today, he would say to us, “Just take care of my baby y’all.”
So we ask for your assistance. Let us come together and honor his memory with a proper ceremony, and future assistance for his baby girl.
