Fundraiser to benefit Zack Gregson
On Thursday, July 15th Zack Gregson was involved in an accident while riding his motorcycle in Ventura, CA where he was hit by a driver turning left. The accident has left him in serious condition with a number of fractures and extensive injuries resulting in the unfortunate amputation of his left leg, below the knee.
Zack and his family are long-time, committed public safety community members with Zack being a part of the VCFD Fire Family since childhood. He is the son of VCFD nurse, Erica Gregson, he served in the Cadet program while in high school and is currently a Swamper on the VCFD Handcrew. His father, Mike has served the local community as well, retiring from Oxnard Police Department after 27 years of service and currently serving with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's office.
While Zack remains hospitalized, we are asking for your strength, positive thoughts, and prayers. We anticipate a long road to recovery and rehabilitation that will include an extensive amount of medical bills including the need for a prosthetic. Please consider making a donation to assist Zack and the Gregson family through financial, physical, and emotional recovery. Your support for Zack and the Gregson family is deeply appreciated.
If you prefer to make a donation via cash/check or in person, please contact the VCFD WOAF directly. Visit the VCFD WOAF Website for contact info.
