Fundraiser in the name of Dr Mir Mahmood Ali

Our beloved father, Dr Mir Mahmood Ali, returned to his Lord on the morning of Saturday 10th September 2022.

Those who knew him will attest to his jovial personality. Any room he entered would brighten with laughter and joy. He was truly the life of any gathering.

Despite his numerous health issues, dad was the most generous person we know. He had a heart of gold. He drove an entire truck full of medicine to help those in need. When a beloved aunty was leaving for Hajj, dad showed up with a suitcase of medication and asked for it to be distributed amongst all pilgrims; with the request they all pray for him. Every single medication was distributed, and every soul prayed for him.

We will truly miss his presence and radiance in our lives.

“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

For a man who helped so many, we want to do as much as we can to help him during his journey in The Hereafter. Please donate whatever you can so he may be rewarded for this source of ‘ongoing charity’ (Sadaqah Jaariyah). The donations will go towards supporting a beautiful cause. We pray Allah accepts our duas and efforts towards fundraising in his name.
