Fundraiser on behalf of Owen Thorne

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We're reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for assistance. Owen Thorne is a young man attending UW-Lacrosse studying marketing with a creative writing minor whom we met last year when he started dating our daughter Nikki Caya. Our family has learned that Owen, a bright, caring, and active person, faces a tremendous challenge. He was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, a battle he or anyone could never anticipate at his age.

Owen's journey to recovery has begun with intensive chemotherapy treatments, which will keep him in the hospital for several weeks if not months. After that, the Thorne family is looking at transitioning Owen to off-campus sterile housing for six months to a year. During this challenging period, the family has told me that the outpouring of love and emotional support from friends and family has been inspiring.

However, as many of you may know, long-term treatments bring many direct and indirect costs. These financial challenges can quickly become overwhelming. This is where we kindly ask for your support.
