Fundraiser: Support Recovery of Roger Rosenberry
Donation protected
On Wednesday, July 19th, our dear friend Roger Rosenberry suffered a stroke. He remains hospitalized at Sentara Norfolk General River Pavillion and will likely require in-patient rehabilitation for quite some time to regain functions necessary for daily activity.
Roger's stroke followed an aortic dissection (a tear in his heart) in mid-February that has required several months of intensive recovery and much time away from work.
His wife Tina and two college aged sons, Connor and Carson, have maintained optimism and faithful support for Roger throughout his health journey.
This most recent medical event leaves great concern for what the immediate future holds, and this amazing family is always the first to support those who are in need. Given the time it may take to regain critical functions impacted by the stroke and the intensive therapy and medical services Roger will need in the coming weeks and months, our hope is to provide whatever financial support we can as a community of friends, so Tina and the boys can focus on Roger and getting him the critical care he needs for quality of life as a family.
We have started a GoFundMe to help ease the burden associated with time away from work, expenses associated with Roger's rehabilitation, and living expenses.
If you can donate, it would mean the world to Roger, Tina, and their family. Please keep Roger and his beautiful family in your prayers. These last 5 months have been incredibly difficult navigating these many health challenges. We remain incredibly hopeful for a restoration of health for our friend Roger.
