Heather & David Wiese Cancer Journey

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Souls,

We come to you with heavy hearts and a plea for support. Our beloved Heather Wiese, a devoted wife to David Wiese and a loving mom to two preschool daughters, has been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, an extremely rare form of gall bladder cancer that has spread to her liver and lymph nodes. Many are asking how they can best support Heather and David, this is one avenue.

Heather is embarking on a challenging journey that requires immense faith, strength, courage, and, unfortunately, a considerable financial burden. Starting with eight months of chemotherapy treatment, upcoming medical bills, and the strain on daily life can be overwhelming. That's why we are reaching out to our community, both near and far, to support Heather as she faces this battle.

Heather has been blessed to have worked in her career as a hairdresser, caring for people and their hair for 23 years. Because of Chemo and the significant risk to her compromised immune system, she has had to heavy heartedly step away from the salon until this fight turns to healing.

In addition to this incredible challenge, David was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to a very low ejection fraction as well as an enlarged heart. He underwent a pacemaker implant over the summer which acts as a defibrillator in case of cardiac arrest.
