Fundraiser to cover ER bill for foster pup Bamboo
Tax deductible
This week one of our sweet pups who is staying in foster ate something he wasn't supposed to (as wild puppies sometimes do) and ended up in a bit of a scary situation. The foster family noticed Bamboo was acting a bit strange and was refusing to eat. His symptoms quickly became more serious, prompting them to bring him immediately into the Emergency room.
At first observation it was clear there was some sort of blockage in his system, so they recommended an xray, that showed inflammation in his system. He soon after passed something, although the vets were not 100% sure if that was the item stuck in his system. Bamboo needed to be monitored for the night and if his symptoms got worse he would be going in for surgery.
Luckily, within 24 hours little bamboo was feeling much better and soon started to eat again and act like a puppy. Luckily we did not have to have surgery that would have been over $6k but unfortunately the medical bills for the emergency situation ended up being over $1,300.
We are asking for any help you can provide to pay for the bills for Bamboo's emergency visit. We rely heavily on donations of our supporters to be able to care for dogs, especially when unexpected medical emergencies come up such as this.
With having multiple back to back medical emergencies in a short period of time our funds are extremely low, and we are at a very high need for donations.
We ask for anything that you can give so that we can continue to do the incredible work that all of our staff, volunteers and fosters are doing to support the mission of rescuing dogs and giving them the chance at a loving life that they deserve.
