Fundraiser to help cover expenses

UPDATE 5/29/2023: Just learned that the baby won't be able to have any surgery done until he is born. The surgery in question right now is a shunt going from his bladder out of Jaddey's stomach to hopefully rid any fluid build up in his kidneys.
Hi, my name is Lori Alvarado. I am Jaddey Wadena's aunt. Her Dad, Jesse, asked me to setup this fund to help cover expenses for her family as they go through a rough spot in her pregnancy. A week or so ago Jaddey was told there was an issue with her pregnancy. She told me the following (it is a lengthy post):
"So baby has something causing blockage from his bladder into his urethra and its causing fluid backup around/in his kidneys. It’s nothing that could have been prevented by me, just something that sometimes happens. Without the flow of fluids out of his kidneys it’s causing swelling and could damage kidneys.
So there’s the fluid build up…but also low amniotic fluid around baby. Baby not getting enough amniotic fluid can cause his lungs not to develop. So without intervention care he may develop the need for dialysis or other kidney issues after birth, and low amniotic fluid can cause lungs not to develop strongly there were 3 options she gave me for next steps - termination of pregnancy or no treatment and go with whatever happens happens, or get a shunt and basically get his urine/fluids out for him. A shunt is the most recommended and they’ll closely monitor baby’s development and response to it. They can also do a genetic test to see whether there are any other factors involved but highly likely it’s just a blockage in his urethra (pee passage) the shunt would help with that. And then I’d possibly develop more amniotic fluid and his lungs would have a better chance of developing so he’d have more room to grow. Also if fluid stays low it could possibly cause club foot or other issues with limbs because baby has less room to move around and get things functioning but that would all be treated after birth if it were to happen. Baby’s blockage would need to be treated after birth too but the surgery I need would help him get fluids out of his kidneys while he’s in my belly. I would have to have the shunt put in at Mayo in Rochester. And be monitored possibly weekly in Fargo after that.
Of course we chose intervention care and will do the shunt and they will likely need me to do it within a week. And I’ll have weekly appts in Fargo after that "
That was her initial prognosis. It changed quickly. A few days ago she was told she needs to be in Rochester at Mayo most of this week (May 28th week) for testing. Totally not expected. She isn't even sure if the procedure to clear the blockage will happen this week or not. She was told another visit to Mayo will be scheduled after this week, then possible visits to a physician in Fargo. As you can imagine this is all quite scary and extremely stressful on everyone, especially Jaddey and Jake.
Jesse and I hope you will help if it within your means. Prayers are always appreciated and welcomed. Thank you for any help you can give. Please share as well!! I will update as much as possible.
