Fundraiser to replace stolen catalytic converters
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Medina County Sheltered Industries Inc, DBA Windfall Industries, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Recently Windfall Industries has been the victim of local thieves who have vandalized our vans that are used to provide transportation services for individuals with disabilities. These thieves have trespassed on our property and cut and removed the catalytic converters off of 9 of our 16 vans in the past month. This has caused a terrible hardship for our company and has made it very difficult for us to continue to provide the much needed services for the individuals that we care for. After making it through the difficult pandemic we are now faced with this tremendous challenge that has been forced upon us by thoughtless, local thieves. We have been informed by our insurance agency that our rates are going to increase significantly if we submit all of these repairs as claims. In addition to our rates increasing our insurance company has also required that we find an alternative place to store our vehicles to prevent future incidents. We are now forced to relocate our vehicles to an undisclosed location where we will now have to pay a daily rate to store our vehicles safely to prevent this from occurring in the future. We are trying to raise funds to cover the cost of repairing over half of our fleet of vehicles without having to submit claims to our insurance as well as to help cover the future, ongoing storage needs that our company will have to pay to keep our vehicles safe.
More information about Medina County Sheltered Industries Inc: The mission of Windfall Industries is to create and maintain a business that provides high quality service and products to customers while providing comprehensive training, career growth, job placement and other vocational opportunities for individuals with disabilities and workers with disadvantages.
