Fundraiser to Support Amber

On June 29, 2021 Amber was out enjoying dinner with a friend in Minneapolis when she was caught in the cross fire of a shooting. She was shot in her shoulder and the bullet travelled through her neck leaving her in critical condition. She has returned home from the hospital and begun her long journey to recovery.

The damage to the nerves in her shoulder/neck caused Amber’s left arm to be partially paralyzed and she is in significant pain. She has been seeing her team of doctors and specialists regularly to help manage her injuries. She has recently been referred to a team of doctors that deal with her specific type of injury (brachial plexus injury) and she will see them at the Mayo Clinic in October.
