Fundraiser to Support Ken Biringer

Ken Biringer has been the talent buyer for the Sportsmen’s Tavern in Buffalo NY, 1990s to present. By attracting and booking top national acts Ken has helped expand a long standing family owned and run tavern into the preeminent Americana music venue in Western NY

Ken has now been hospitalized for all but 10 days of the last 10 months, A routine operation has left him paralyzed from the waist down. He can come home any time if we can help finance the home nursing care that he will need.

Ken brought my band to the Tavern in the 1990s We were the first national touring act to play there, eventually followed by hundreds of musicians from across the country and around the world. To all my fellow touring musicians and audience members who have been enriched by this unique musical scene, let’s chip in and bring Ken Biringer home.
