Helping Camille Lewis (Millie) fight Chordoma Cancer
Don protégé
My name is Cynthia Martinez, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of my step-sister, Camille. Recently, Camille, a bright and energetic 7-year-old, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer known as chordoma.
Chordoma is a slow-growing cancer that originates in the tissues within the spine, and in Camille's case, it has manifested in multiple areas, including her tailbone, brainstem, and left lung. Despite her young age, Camille has shown incredible resilience in the face of this challenging diagnosis. Her infectious smile and love for dancing and singing continue to bring joy to those around her.
What began as neck pain escalated quickly into a series of alarming symptoms, including changes in vision and difficulty with balance. After multiple doctor visits and tests, Camille's family received the devastating news of her stage 4 cancer diagnosis, a condition rarely seen in children.
The journey towards Camille's recovery has been emotionally and financially draining for her family. Medical bills and potential rehabilitation costs are mounting, adding to the stress of this difficult period. As we rally around Camille and her loved ones, I humbly ask for your support in our fundraising efforts.
Your generous donation will go directly towards covering Camille's medical expenses and providing her with the care and support she needs during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in Camille's battle against cancer.
Thank you for taking the time to read Camille's story. Your kindness and support are deeply appreciated. Together, we can help Camille continue to dance, sing, and light up the world with her beautiful spirit.
If you wish to donate or learn more about Camille's journey, please feel free to contact me directly. Let's come together to support this brave little girl in her fight against cancer.
