Fundraising for a large family from Ukraine

Hello everyone! My name is Iryna Pushkarenko, I have been living in Winkler, MB for 2 years. We came to Canada from Ukraine (Odessa region) surviving from the war to give our children a peaceful and happy childhood. To my great regret, a great tragedy happened in our family. My husband Oleksandr Pushkarenko died on July 24, 2024, after several months of emergency hospitalizations and treatment in intensive care. He fought for his life to the last, but everything turned out not in his favor. Sasha was a man with a kind heart. He was a faithful friend, a loving husband and an exemplary father to six children. In addition to the pain of losing my husband, we also face financial difficulties with burying him in his homeland. All the family's savings were spent due to the illness. I had to be with him all the time and a lot of money was spent on the road from Winkler to Winnipeg, on renting a hotel in Winnipeg near the hospital, we also had mandatory payments for rent, household expenses, and child support. My husband left behind two minor children who are grieving for their father and our family needs such support for the first time in their lives.

I would like to appeal to each of you who knew my husband or simply wants to help with my husband's burial. The amount that we must have at the moment is unaffordable for our family, so we are forced to open this collection in order to fulfill my husband's last wish and preserve the bright memory of him.
