Fiji's First Veterinary Outreach Mobile Clinic

WHAT IS THIS FUNDRAISER ABOUT
Animals Fiji is a registered Fiji and U.S. 501(c)(3) charity with a focus on animal welfare. We ensure animal services and education are available to people throughout Fiji.
We run outreach clinics in towns, villages and islands where these communities lack access to veterinary and animal welfare services. To further support this initiative we are fundraising for a new resource in the form of a bus.
The bus will be kitted out to provide a mobile desexing service for the many poor Fijian animals who spend their lives in a non-stop cycle of reproducing babies, living on streets, starving, and then repeating the cycle of producing unwanted litters.
We can only dream about how many dogs, cats, and any other animal we can help with this bus.
Please donate so we can purchase and transform our bus from this:

ABOUT US
Animals Fiji is a registered Fiji and U.S. 501(c)(3) charity with a focus on animal welfare. We ensure animal services and education are available to people throughout Fiji. We provide veterinary care for pets, livestock, and wildlife.
Animals Fiji was established in 2011 and have been in operation for over ten years. There are four permanent clinics based in the Western and Northern Divisions of Fiji; in Nadi, Lautoka, Savusavu, and Labasa. In addition to the permanent locations, Animals Fiji performs outreach to communities in Fiji that lack access to veterinary and animal welfare services. The Nadi clinic also has a shelter which takes in stray, injured or abused animals, who are then treated and re-homed.
Animals Fiji is funded exclusively through donations and subsidised treatment fees, with no financial assistance from the Fijian government.
OUR MISSION
To improve the welfare of all animals - domesticated & wildlife - resulting in better lives for both the animal and humans of Fiji, while helping to build a society without animal cruelty.
COSTS BREAKDOWN:
- FJ $40,000 will be used to purchase the bus
- FJ $16,000 will be used to get the bus up to mechanically up to date, warrant of fitness, LTA registration, new batteries, aircon / power supply, and basics to start using it--including $1800 for new signage wrap, which we are seeking long term corporate sponsors for.
