Fund-raising for Brianna Hodgetts

We asked the hard question last night and the answer was that she is expected to live. The next step is waiting to see if she has suffered any permanent brain injuries.

Hello,

As you may know our daughter Brianna was hit by a car in Strathpine on the 12th October. She is in intensive care in a coma with a brain injury and an eye injury.

I hate to put my hand out, but Brianna is going to need a lot of care, I'm on the disability pension and my wife is a full time carer. We don't have much and I don't know how I am going to help Bri with the recovery she needs.

There is no expectation, but if anyone wishes to help Brianna through this time, we would be forever in your debt.

All proceeds will go directly to Briannas care and to help us bear the costs associated with being by her side as much as possible.

I'd hazard a guess that ONCE she recovers that anything left will be used towards building the gaming computer she was trying so hard to save for before her accident. She already has a CPU, one SSD and a power supply... that'll be up to her, of course.

I had a much better write up done, but the app fouled up and I lost it and I just don't have it in me to do it all again right now.
