Fundraising for Chris and Yvonne Sorensen

Hello everyone, our names are Amanda, Sara, Olivia, Leah and Maria and our dad, Chris Sorensen, was in a traumatic motorcycle accident on July 30. He has been in Jefferson Torresdale hospital receiving exceptional care after suffering a brain bleed, traumatic brain injury and multiple facial fractures. In the beginning there was so much uncertainty as he was unstable for quite some time. As the days and weeks progressed, our dad’s health made small improvements and we never let go of the possibility of a full recovery. For the past six weeks our family has been at his bedside praying and speaking positivity in his ear. Our mom, Yvonne, and grandmother, Pat, have not missed a day of visiting and created such a special bond with the nurses and doctors in the ICU.

The road to recovery is going to be a long one. The next step is for our dad to transition to a rehab to increase his strength. He will need to re-learn walking and basic activities of daily living. We are kindly asking for your support and donations for our mom, a true woman of strength and light, as she will soon start to feel the financial burden of this unfortunate accident.
