Read Brief....
San Francisco has been known as a haven and a sanctuary for Black LGBT people; immigrants, and those internally displaced around the USA, and world. However, for sweet Junior it has never been a safe haven (a sanctuary, a shelter or a refuge) from danger & violence towards him since he arrived there from the Hell-hole he was living in.
Since arriving, Junior has been suffering from Employment Discrimination; Housing Discrimination, Education Discrimination; Racism, Health & Hunger problems while at the same time, unimaginable & unmanageable street-living & constant shocks of true danger from targeted Xenophobic attacks; bullying, and (private & public) beatings.
Junior my beautiful friend (I consider family), is one soft-spoken; beautiful & feminine person that helps out & inspires others when able; one that I got to know, so I worry about him daily, as he always reminded me of myself when I was younger.
He lives under constant fear of his life and things like this should not be happening, but they are. Junior just wants to live normally & freely from fear and re-persecution but every day is a day of retraumatization. As a trauma survivor, he doesn't deserve this, particularly not in San Francisco USA which should be a Sanctuary for all who are oppressed and marginalized.
Please donate whatever you can today for Junior's economical survival, social survival and personal survival, but if you haven't already please read the whole story below. I would really appreciate any amount you can spare, and Junior will be so grateful and finally start smiling again.

Junior was resettled in San Francisco on November 20, 2014, as a refugee through the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), because of persecution suffered both in Junior's own country; the Democratic Republic of Congo, and then South Africa (the Country of First Asylum). When I first met Junior he was in South Africa and suffering so much, my beloved and I would send him money just to survive, and he did, barely until luck shined and he was on his way to San Francisco finally. There was no option to go anywhere else, so off he went to what he thought would be freedom and joy.
Now he's living in another kind of Hell-hole that no one should be living in.
Since arriving, Junior has been suffering from Employment Discrimination; Housing Discrimination, Education Discrimination; Racism, Health & Hunger problems while at the same time, unimaginable & unmanageable street-living & constant shocks & fear of true danger from targeted Xenophobic attacks; bullying, and (private & public) beatings, threats, and not to mention rape. He was even falsely incarcerated because of these situations. He's not incarcerated right now, but all those threats are there always, and they're real.
When working as a customer service representative and cashier; in San Francisco since 2015, Junior suffered employment discrimination, right until 2017, because of his gender nonconformities. He's a feminine male that wanted to be Transgender at the time, and with the endless targeted harassment at work & out of work; then following the advice of a therapist, a settlement between an employment attorney & the employment, Junior stopped working. After this justified decision to get away from those places and stopping work, everything else went downhill, and Junior's Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) symptoms amplified.
Dreams and goals are crushed, and Junior is tormented by racism and xenophobia in all public places that he's allowed to go (while homeless), including the public transitional housings applied for and including from her own LGBT Community. One transitional housing that Junior managed to secure for 18 months was complete hell; with aggressive bullies for flatmates. Being bullied and called names like "dog" "germ" "thief" "faggot nigger" "black tranny" and more.., kept Junior victimized & depressed for so long while being denied everywhere for a right to visit a friend, or have a friend visit.
However Junior has been struggling from severe homelessness throughout the whole time in San Francisco due to the expensiveness of living there, and the status of being a Black LGBT solo feminine Congolese immigrant. Giving up the operation to be a real Transgender female; Junior my beautiful friend (I consider family), is one soft-spoken; beautiful & feminine person that helps out & inspires others when able; one that I got to know, so I worry about him daily, as he always reminded me of myself when I was younger. Except he's emotionally stronger than I am because I would not survive the whole ordeal, and suicide for me would be my answer to it all.
There were several attempts to wrongfully evict Junior by housing managers, and recently another Xenophobic flatmate called the police on Junior and lied his face off; he said mainly that Junior was a threat. So some uncompassionate & unsavoury Bad Cops then showed up; handcuffed Junior and threw my beautiful friend (I consider family) in jail, where he was tortured for 3 days until released on his own recognizance (O.R. means allowing a person accused of a crime to be free while awaiting trial without posting bail), but he did not commit a crime, it was a false pretence the flatmate made up to get rid of Junior. The case is still pending in court, but fortunately, the public defender's office is working with the San Francisco District Attorney's office to get the case dismissed.
Junior was also trying to study to be a Paralegal, but suffered discrimination at the school while attending; where the racist & homophobic instructor would yell at Junior in front of other students, ridiculing Junior and treating my dear friend as less human. The first few classes that he attended were introductions to paralegal studies; writing, and legal research, and Junior did his final exam very well but suspiciously never passed or even allowed to see his grades. Through the whole experience; students would be very offensive in their languages towards him, yet he would complete the assignments in time and very well but never received good grades,, and even though while suffering through his life there, he put all his energy into it.
Junior also has always been a victim of gangstalking and harassment by random strangers on the streets of San Francisco. He has been followed by suspicious police & authorities everywhere he goes, and sometimes he feels he's targeted because of constant police surveillance and strangers stalking him and harassing him daily. Yet he carries on doing what he can, surviving as he must, not bitter not angry, and wishes no harm to anyone, while just worried and depressed.
He lives under constant fear of his life and things like this should not be happening, but they are. Junior just wants to live normally & freely from fear and re-persecution but every day is a day of retraumatization, as he tries to carry on hopefully that everything will work out one day. As a trauma survivor, he doesn't deserve this, particularly not in San Francisco USA which should be a Sanctuary for all who are oppressed and marginalized. While others oppressed and marginalized often look to him for support and inspiration.
Junior is now homeless as we speak; he lives in a hostel without any money or food, and only if in the hostel there is no danger to watch out for, he can sleep, but there's danger everywhere because how can he trust anyone there? When I talk to Junior, he's hungry, he's tired, he's scared, and doesn't know what to do, especially with no money to help him. I need to help Junior with money now, but I can not send any, as now I am alone without the love of my life, who with me, sent Junior money up until he was able to reach San Francisco. Now I don't have any money for anything but my bills to survive, so I'm at an impasse and worry daily along with Junior.
Please donate whatever you can today for Junior's economical survival, social survival and personal survival. I would really appreciate any amount you can spare, and Junior will be so grateful and finally start smiling again. Thank you.
