Cambridgeshire FA are fundraising for Football Powerchairs
Donation protected
At Cambridgeshire Football Association, we are actively creating opportunities for Powerchair and wheelchair users in Cambridgeshire to enjoy regular football.
We have joined together with Cambridge United Foundation and have the opportunity to acquire powerchairs; making this a reality. While venue and equipment costs present challenges, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has the chance to play and experience football at all levels.
However, we do not have all the funding available for us to do this alone, which is why we need your help.
It doesn’t matter how big or how small your donation is, every amount raised will have a positive impact on Powerchair and Wheelchair players in Cambridgeshire.
• Powerchair football is an adaptable format for people with disabilities or are wheelchair users.
• The game is 4v4 and played inside sport halls.
• Players mostly have Cerebral Palsy or Muscular Dystrophy, but others can play too
• No age brackets as zero contact sports
• National and Regional leagues are available with sport from the WFA. ( Wheelchair Football Association)
• England Talent Pathway and England National team available
