Fundraising for Gilaman Family

My name is Samandar khan SEDIQI President of the Afghan Association South Australia, Mr Arif Haleemi President of the Afghan Diversity Culture Association, and Afghan Elders of South Australia. I am setting this fundraising for Gilaman Wazir, a Pashtun human rights activist who was brutally beaten in Islamabad and was fighting for his life for 3 days in hospital but unfortunately died on 10 July 2024 after suffering from severe wounds. He has a sick mother, a young wife and 5 very young children. Let’s come together to raise funds to support his family. This is the least we can do to honor his legacy.

Words can not describe the feeling of millions people when they heard the tragic death of Gilaman. We continue to honor his legacy by donating as much as we can so we can send it to his family who must be devastated by the loss of a son, father and husband.

Gilaman was a poet who has affected all of us in many ways. His poems have a wider message of peace and stoping violence in our communities. This money that we raise will go directly to Gilaman’s family. I assure you that I am in contact with people who know the family and the family is aware of our efforts and support. We will post a video of his family receiving the money. This money is not for any political movement but for a family in pain and mourning who lost a son, husband, and father.

Once the fundraising comes to a completion, and all the funds are settled in this account, we will send the money through a legal money processing company with all the receipts.
