Fundraising Sadqa Jaria Haji Mohammed Abdul-Khaliq

السلام عليكم 
Assalaamu Alaykum

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون 
innalillahi wainna ilayhi rajioon

This sadqa jariah is for building a masjid & madrassa in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

It is with great sadness that our father Haji Mohammed Abdul-Khaliq sadly passed away on Sunday 12th July 2020 10.40pm. I (Akib) am his youngest son and I have 3 older brothers (Saqib, Rashid & Tahir) and 4 sisters (Soubia, Zarka, Shazia & Shamim), we all have decided to create and insha’Allah complete this sadqa jariah journey for dad.

His death was caused by pancreatic cancer which dad had been diagnosed with in February 2020.  

Sadly, the effects of this cancer caused his organs to fail because of the tumor spreading. Historically, he was a heart patient who suffered from multiple heart attacks (eventually had a pace maker installed), angina, kidney stones, high blood pressure and diabetes. This is only a glimpse of what our dad had been through, but even though dad had so many tests throughout his life, he was still the most patient, happy, positive, active and considerate person in every room he was in. His final moments in this dunya were spent with his whole family, his kids, grand kids and great grand kids. We were all reciting the shahada with him as he was gasping for his final breaths.

We believe that dad had passed every test this dunya put him through, and now we pray that dad is passing the test in the grave in the same way. May Allah grant him the highest rank in Jannah. 

This fund raising page is to raise money in the name of Haji Mohammed Abdul-Khaliq as a means of sadqa jariah so that we can deliver something good for the world and to provide support for my dad by increasing his good deeds. We will be contributing to the completion of the construction of a Masjid & Madrassa in Rawalpindi, Pakistan insha’Allah. If sufficient funds are available we will expand the project and make the building as big as possible. Dad had already started the fund in 2019 but the hafiz there who is also the project manager does not have the means to complete the construction of the Masjid. This sadqa jaria will undoubtedly continue dad’s legacy in completing the project. We will all be accountable on the Day of Judgement, may Allah protect us all from the punishment of the grave and the Hell fire. Ameen.
