Fundraising for Humanitarian Assistance for Wallo

Tax deductible
The Macha Tulama Association (USA) Inc. is reaching out for your support in its vital mission to deliver humanitarian aid to the Oromo people in Wallo, who are currently facing severe shortages of food, clothing, shelter, and medical supplies. The conflict, instigated by the paramilitary group known as the Amhara FANNO, has intensified since 2019, causing an alarming humanitarian crisis for the Wallo people.

In recent months, the violence has claimed the lives of numerous civilians, with the FANNO militia engaging in brutal acts of violence, including the killing of hundreds, looting, arson, and the displacement of countless innocent people. The aftermath of these attacks has left many families mourning and communities in despair, struggling with hunger and hopelessness.

The Oromo people in Wallo have suffered greatly due to the ongoing conflict, enduring the loss of loved ones and the forced relocation of thousands. With the recent escalation, the situation has become increasingly untenable for them to manage alone.
In response to this dire situation, the MTA is committed to providing urgent relief to those affected. To facilitate this, MTA has launched a GoFundMe campaign aimed at supporting the internally displaced persons in Wallo who are in desperate need of life's basic necessities.

Your donation, regardless of size, will have a significant impact on the lives of our Oromo brothers and sisters. By joining forces, we can help ease their suffering and offer hope for a brighter future.

We urge you to consider donating to our GoFundMe campaign and to spread the word within your network. Your contribution will not only deliver essential aid but also symbolize solidarity and compassion in these difficult times.

For those who prefer an alternative method of contribution, please visit the MTA website at https://machatulama.com/.
Together, our collective efforts can create a profound difference and showcase the strength of unity in times of crisis.
We are deeply grateful for your steadfast support and kindness.

Sincerely, Macha Tulama Association
