Our beloved Mekonen Yohannes Was born on June 15, 1956 and passed away on March 17, 2024 after fighting his illness.

Mekonen was a loving father and brother , he was a beacon of strength, wisdom, and unwavering love that illuminated every corner of his family's lives.

He was there, a steadfast presence guiding his children through life's twists and turns with a gentle hand and a kind smile. His unwavering support and encouragement were the bedrock upon which his children built their dreams, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he would be there, cheering them on from the sidelines.

As a father, he was not just a provider; he was a teacher, imparting lessons that transcended textbooks and classrooms. He taught them the value of hard work, integrity, and compassion through his own example, showing them that true greatness lies not in grand gestures, but in the everyday acts of kindness and decency that define their humanity.

Beyond his role as a father, he was a friend, a confidant, someone with whom they could share their hopes, fears, and aspirations without judgment or reservation. His laughter was infectious, his wisdom profound, and his love boundless, filling the spaces between them with a warmth that could melt even the coldest of hearts.

Though he may no longer walk beside them in the physical sense, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
