Fundraising After Motor-Vehicle Buggy Crash

Hi everyone, I am creating this fundraiser for my friend in the Amish community with his permission. I met him when he lived in Ellsworth, WI and we've been long-time friends since.
My friend David, his wife Clara, and their 6 children (all under the age of 8) were involved in a motor vehicle-buggy crash that resulted in at least 2-3 children being ejected from the buggy and three requiring hospital care across the state of Wisconsin. Their 3 year old was life flighted to UW-Madison for head injuries. She has since returned home with family 5/15. His buggy was totaled and his horse was also injured in the accident.
All are currently doing well. We are trying to support the family by taking away one less stress.
**Pursuing action with the court system is not typical to do within their community. And the priority has been making sure they are safe and trying to help relief stressors from the traumatic accident**

"A crash in Trempealeau County injured eight people Thursday, six of whom were children.
According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office, a Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into a horse-drawn buggy on US 53-121 at Brittani Lane in the Town of Pigeon around 5:40 p.m.
The Jeep crashed into the back of the horse-drawn buggy as it was waiting for oncoming traffic to turn left onto a private drive, according to the release.
Two of the six children were thrown from the buggy as a result of the crash, authorities said. All eight people on the buggy suffered injuries, ranging from minor to severe, according to Trempealeau County.
The horse pulling the buggy was also injured. One of the children thrown from the buggy was airlifted to the UW hospital in Madison."
