Fundraising for Phil

Hi, my name is Carissa I started this go fund me for my brother Philip Stahli. On June 20th Phil's world was flipped upside down. After a month long wait of MRI's and X-rays due to left shoulder pain, Phil and his family received devastating news. He was diagnosed with bone cancer. At this point he was directed to make an appointment at Roswell. With an appointment upcoming he suddenly had to rush to Buffalo General ER because he was having severe leg pain and swelling. There they did CT scans and ultrasounds and it was found that he also had a blood clot in his leg and the cancer was throughout his body. Phil then went to Roswell for a biopsy to find out where the cancer started.

On July 5th Phil was was admitted to Roswell due to being in severe pain and that's when he received his biopsy results. Phil is positive for stage 4 metastatic malignant melanoma which is a form of skin cancer. Per doctors at Roswell Philip's cancer is unable to be cured and palliative care was recommended. This is crushing news as a family to hear that you have cancer and there is no cure or no treatment is beyond heart shattering. Phil is a loving, caring father and his 2 children Jared and Jenna mean everything to him as well as his family.

This go fund me was started in hopes to decrease the financial burden and hardships this will cause with Phil not being able to work and those who know Phil know what a hardworking man he is. Phil has always helped anyone in anytime and now it's time to give back the love.
