Fundraising for Quentin Carter
Donation protected
As you are all aware our CFI Quentin Carter was involved in a serious aircraft accident on the 29th August this year.
Quentin's multiple fractures and wounds have required specialist care and this has kept him in hospital in Brisbane for the past two months. This has also meant Tamara, has not been able to work in her business as often as she would have, with the trips to Brisbane to be with Quentin a priority.
Although we are delighted to hear of his transfer to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Quentin will require ongoing specialist care, further surgery, and testing to ensure he is back to his old self and up again flying which was and still is his passion.
Quentin had dedicated his life to the Sunshine Coast Aero Club with being, Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, and Chief Flying Instructor. Working 12-hour days as CFI, Quentin certainly has given us his all.
Both Quentin and Tamara have for many years been instrumental in the social side of the Aero Club, providing amazing culinary delights over the years.
Let's help give back to Quentin and Tamara at this difficult time. We want to help ease the burden of the medical costs associated with his recovery and many of you have been asking for ways to assist financially.
The funds raised will be used to help support the medical and day-to-day expenses whilst both Quenting and Tamara focus on Quentin's recovery.
In the meantime, The Sunshine Coast Aero Club, Quentin, and his family wish to thank each of you for all your love, support, and best wishes over the past few months.
