Fundraising for Rob and family

It is with great sadness that we are creating a page to raise funds for Rob and family to create some lasting memories.

As many of you know, Rob Salt, PO in Fareham, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Rob has worked in Probation across HIOW since 2018 and many of you will have worked alongside him. While this is such a tragic time for him and his family, we have decided to create a fundraising page to make sure Rob, and his family, can have some money to put towards some of their planned family trips in the time remaining.

This is more than a fundraiser; it’s a community effort to support one of our own in a time of need. Your involvement not only provides financial support but also shows a heart-warming community spirit that we value so much.

We will be organising events across the PDU to add funds and please do get involved where possible. To start things off, Gerry from the Fareham office will be doing a Sponsored Christmas Jumper Advent (as someone who truly is a bah humbug!) and will post pictures daily of his creations/attire. We are also looking at cake sales, quizzes and other activities to be part of this fundraising.

We are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide. Every donation, big or small, will enable Rob and his family to make some truly memorable moments together.
