Fundraising for Teddy B. HELP!!

Ocean County resident and singer/songwriter Eric Barney aka Teddy B. has actively performed in the music industry for over fifty years. He has always worked incredibly hard throughout his career to perfect his craft. He has shared his soulful voice to entertain others by creating memorable experiences for audiences everywhere. He treasures the friendships made and is honored that he has been given the opportunity to work with so many musical greats. But now he needs your assistance.

After performing at a gig with the Sensational Soul Cruisers in late October, Teddy arrived home feeling quite ill. The ER determined he had pneumonia, which led to sepsis, which finally led to severe heart failure. He almost died. Teddy left the hospital with a heart operating at just 16%, a life vest, medications and a warning of possible sudden cardiac death. He recently received a CRT implant, but is still often fatigued and just not feeling like himself. His cardiac team is concerned his sick heart doesn’t appear to be responding as well as it should. So, a heart transplant was discussed as his last hope if Teddy’s heart doesn’t begin to improve. But due to his age, time is of the essence. So, we are trying to raise funds to ease his burdens at this time, since he has been unable to work in many months.
