Fundraising for the family of Sheikh Abir Hossain

Tragically, Sheikh Abir was taken from us in a senseless act of violence while working as a clerk at a local store. His life was cut short by this inexplicable tragedy, leaving behind a young wife, a precious two-year-old daughter, and his widowed mother.

Sheikh Abir was not just a student; he was a devoted husband, a loving father, son, and a beacon of hope for his family and community. His untimely departure has sent shockwaves through the hearts of all who knew him. His dedication to his studies, his commitment to a better future, and his warm, generous spirit touched the lives of many.

At this moment of profound loss, the Bangladesh Student Association at Lamar University is coming together to support Sheikh Abir's family. We cannot undo the tragedy that has befallen them, but we can unite in solidarity to provide them with the support they urgently need.

We have launched this GoFundMe campaign to rally support and raise funds to alleviate the financial burden that Sheikh Abir's family now faces. The funds collected will directly assist his grieving wife, Shanjida Alam Mazumder, two-year-old daughter, and his recently widowed mother as they navigate this heartbreaking period and strive to rebuild their lives without their beloved husband, father, and son.
