Fundraising for the poor people of Bangladesh

Assalamualaikum, 


My name is Nazia and I will be heading to Bangladesh in 7 days after a whole decade. Now that I’m going back there as a woman, I’ve realised that I can actually make a difference to those living in catastrophic conditions in Bangladesh. Between 1972 and 2018, Bangladesh’s population living on less than $1.90/day is estimated to have fallen from 82% to NINE PERCENT. There are millions of Bangladeshi people on the streets who haven’t had a proper meal or clean water in days or even weeks, some of them aren’t even fully clothed or have been wearing the same clothes for as long as they can remember. Women do not have sufficient access to sanitary items which are needed for significant hygienic purposes. Young girls are forced into professions that they do not want to be in just for the sake of staying alive. 

Whatever I raise, will be to strictly make those lives in Bangladesh that little bit better, so they can survive a little bit longer, I will be doing this with my father who’s done this before, we will be targeting areas in Sylhet (mainly those on the streets) and providing them food, clean water, clothes etc.
