ይህ ገፅ የተመሰረተበት ዋና አላማ በደቡብ ጎንደር ዞን ወረታ ከተማ ውስጥ ለሚገኘው የወረታ መሰናዶ 2ኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት ያሉበትን ችግሮች ለመቅረፍ ማገዣ ይሆን ዘንድ ነው::ትምህርት ቤቱ ከከተማዋና በብዙ ኪሎሜትር ዙሪያ ከሚኖረው የአርሶአደር ማህበረሰብ ለሚመጡ ተማሪዎች አገልግሎት የሚሰጥ ነው:: ለአካባቢውም ብቸኛውና አማራጭ ወይም መተኪያ የለለው ነው:: በፎቶው ላይ እንደምታዩት በአሁኑ ሰዓት አገልግሎት በመስጠት ላይ የሚገኙት የትምህርት መስጫ ክፍሎች በጭቃ እና እንጨት የተሰሩ በመሆናቸውና ከእድሜ ብዛት የተነሳ በመፈራረስ ላይ ይገኛሉ:: የእንጨት ግድግዳወች አዘንብለዋል:የጭቃ ምርጉም እየለቀቀ የትምህርት ቤቱን ማህበረሰብ ደህነት አደጋ ውስጥ አስገብቶታል:: 

ይህ ሁኔታ በመማር ማስተማሩ ሂደት ላይ ከባድ የሆነ አሉታዊ ተፅዕኖ ከማሳደሩም በላይ በተማሪዎችና በ መምህራን ጤና ላይ ቀላል የ ማይባል ቀውስ እያደረሰ መሆኑን መገመት አያዳግትም:: በተጨማሪም ክፍሎቹ ለመሰናዶ ት/ቤት አይመጥኑም ተብለሙ በባለሙያወች በመወሰኑ የት/ቤቱን የመሰናዶ ት/ቤነት ደረጃን ጥያቄ ውስጥ አስገብቶታል:: ለአካባቢው ብቸኛ የሆነው ይህ የ2ኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤትም እንዳይዘጋ ህብረተሰቡን አስግቶታል::

እነዚህን የመማሪያ ክፍሎች ደረጃቸውን በጠበቀ ሁኔታ አሻሽሎ ለመስራት እንቅስቃሴ ተጀምሯል:: በወረታ ከተማና በአካባቢው ያለውን ማህበረሰብ የሚያስተባብር ኮሚቴ ተቋቁሞል:: እንዲሁም በአዲስ አበባና በሌሎች የሀገራችን ከተሞች የሚኖሩ የአካባቢው ተወላጆችን የማነቃቃት ስራም ተጀምሯል:: እኛም ስማችን ከታች የተዘረዘው በሰሜን አሜሪካ የምንገኝ የቀድሞ የትምህርት ቤቱ ተማሪዎች የማስተባበሩን ሀላፊነት ወስደናል:: የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ እንቅስቃሴውን ለማቀላጠፍ ይህን ገፅ ከፍተናል:: 

በዚህም መሰረት መማሪያ ክፍሎቹን ለማሰራት ይረዳን ዘንድ ሁሉም የተቻለውን የገንዘብ እርዳታ እንዲያደርግ ጥሪ እናቀርባለን:: ይህ የእርዳታ ጥሪ ለቀድሞ የ ት/ቤቱ ተማሪዎችና ጎደኞቻቸው ብቻ ሳይሆን ት/ቤቱን አሻሽሎ ለመጭው ትውልድ ማስተላልፍ አለበን ብሎ ለሚያምኑ ትውልደ ኢትዬጵያውያንና ወዳጀቻቸው ሁሉ ነው:: ከዚህ ገፅ የሚሰበሰበው ሁሉም ገንዘብ ሙሉበሙሉ ለክፍሎቹ ማሰሪያ ይውላል::

We need your support for a fundraising effort dedicated to the building of classrooms for a high school in Woreta, South Gondar, Ethiopia. Woreta Preparatory Secondary School serves students from the town as well as the surrounding farming communities. The high school serves an area of more than 1100 square kilometers (424 square miles), as it is the only high school in the district.

Your donation will help rebuild classrooms which are currently in use and are in very poor condition. As seen in the pictures, the wooden and mud-straw mortar walls have cracked and are dangerously leaning inward putting the safety of students and teachers at risk. Floors have become laden with debris. There are no functioning windows. Student desks made of metal have rusted and chalkboards have worn out due to old age. 

We, Tadele Adamtie Mengesha, Alebachew Atanaw Melese, Birara Tegenie Sitotaw, and Solomon Demoz Yegzaw, are alumni of the high school, born and raised in Ethiopia (Woreta and environs) but currently living in several cities of the U. S. We are assisting in raising money for the rebuilding effort initiated by local communities. A committee has been established in Woreta recently with a mission of mobilizing local residents, former students of the high school living in the country, and local administrators to rebuild these classrooms. Although our effort here is to mobilize alumni who live in the U.S. and Canada to donate funds for the purpose of rebuilding the classrooms, every donation counts and is highly appreciated. All of the money collected will be transferred to the account setup by the local committee and all funds go towards the rebuilding of the classrooms seen in the picture. Your financial contribution will provide a safe educational environment for students and teachers.
