Help! Modern Artist Christopher Henderson keeps creating metal art

My name is Christopher Henderson, and I am a modern metal artist specialising in creating unique metal artwork, wall sculptures, abstract paintings, and intricate metal art clocks.

The Accident

I recently experienced a horrific accident while working on one of my metal art pieces. During the process of cutting sheet metal, the saw unexpectedly came off its track, resulting in the traumatic loss of my left thumb. It was an incredibly frightening moment, but I am fortunate that the operation to reattach my thumb was successful.

The doctors say my healing process will take at least three months during which I’m unable to work on my art or take on commissions. This has left me facing significant challenges in maintaining my studio, covering bills, and ensuring the future of my craft. Despite the physical and emotional toll, I remain hopeful and determined to overcome this setback with your support.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my loved ones, and I’m determined to overcome this obstacle. With your help, I can focus on my recovery and return to my passion for metal art.

As I recover from my injury I'm unable to accept orders or commissions, making it challenging to keep my studio running and maintain basic living costs.

Art has always been a part of my life. Even as a child, I was captivated by creativity and design. In 2019, I decided to pursue this passion more seriously, starting by selling my work on Etsy. As my art gained recognition, I built a dedicated website to connect with a broader audience. In 2021, I moved into my first art studio—a bigger and better space that allowed me to take on more ambitious projects and develop my craft further.

Since then, I’ve been privileged to sell over 800 pieces to customers across the globe, each one crafted with care and creativity. It has been an incredible journey, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me, whether by purchasing my art or simply sharing encouragement.
