It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of Connor Abbott, known to many as "Wabbott." At just 23 years old, Connor was a beloved son, brother, and a dear friend to countless people. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Connor tragically passed away while on holiday in Thailand just a few days ago, leaving a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends.

Connor was a massive York City Football fan, with a passion for entertaining those around him. He was known for his infectious energy and joy, especially during the Euros, when he would set off colorful flares outside The Red Bear, bringing people together in celebration. He was more than a friend—he was a source of laughter, happiness, and unforgettable memories to everyone who knew him.

Connor was also a much-loved customer of The Red Bear, and we have been in touch with his family, who have graciously allowed us to set up this fundraising page. to give Connor a good send off
