Funds for Aiden Ortiz and family

Hello. My name is Veronica McIlwee. This GoFundMe is being set up to help with any expenses that my brother and his family will have due to my sweet nephew being in the hospital.

On Sunday, October 8, my nephew Aiden was sent to the ER after battling horrible headaches for a couple of weeks. After having some tests done, they ended up finding a tumor in his head. They also found out that fluid was building up around it. He was airlifted to Convent Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX. They believe the tumor to be benign and not cancerous. On Tuesday, October 10, he had surgery to remove the tumor and biopsy the tumor. The tumor was fully removed. We are still waiting on biopsy results.

My brother is the sole provider for his family and is having to take time off for this. I am setting up this GoFundMe page in hopes that we can help and raise funds to help them out with whatever they need. Medical bills. Regular bills. Food and lodging if needed while they are up there with him. Plus for whatever it is they need when they are able to come home. I want to relive as much stress as I can for them.
