Funds for Camilo's Medical Costs

Hello, my name is Mariana, and I am trying raise funds for Baby Camilo's medical and travel costs. Camilo Placencia Velazquez is the son of Ruperto and Esmeralda Placencia. As some of you may know, Camilo was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma. A rare form of cancer in his right eye. She noticed a glow in his eye on 4th of July weekend, and went to see Dr. Harvey at Lexington Family Eye Care. Dr. Harvey referred them to Lincoln Eye Surgical and Associates where they were then referred to a hospital in Iowa with a specialist. It was in Iowa that they were given the official diagnosis of Retinoblastoma after an MRI. Baby Camilo has 3 tumors. One of them will be able to treated with a laser, but the other 2 are too big and will require Chemotherapy. Camilo is too small to receive the usual course of treatment through a vein in his leg to his eye, so he will require a chemo port in his veins, and will be receiving chemo through his his entire little body. Camilo's insurance will not cover all of his medical expenses, and his family is unable to get medicaid due to his treatments being in Iowa, and they are not Iowa residents. The Placencia family now has to worry about having medical expenses, travel expenses, and missed days of work on top of everything else. I am hoping that this can help alleviate some of the financial burden and let them focus on the important thing, and that's taking care of Baby Camilo.
