THE MOON DANCE
The Moon Dance is a ceremonial tradition of spiritual ritual whose prayer is for the well-being of the humanity. It is a sacred dance of the elements and to feel the feminine essence amplified within, and dance of all creation and everything manifested in it is present. It is to cleanse and empower all the bodies with ancestral music.
The symbology includes honoring feminine energy, the moon, the elements that make up life (Earth, Water, Fire and Air), the cycles of change and transformation.
Dancing four nights of sleep fasting to establish a sacred connection between Mother Earth and the Moon.
Our next Moon Dance will be on March 4 - 8, 2025 when the 3rd Rainbow Woman Cuauhtinchan Moon Dance, welcoming everyone who feel the call to join this ceremonial ritual to the Moon in a climate of honesty and respect for the Mayan Lands in which we find ourselves, giving thanks and most importantly where sex, sexual orientation and gender identity will not limit being able to be part of this dance.
