Funds for Hunter & Family

Hi, my name is Jenna, I’m Hunter’s fiancé. Hunter is a 20 year old chef who loves to cook, spend time with family and friends and go hiking! We are currently 7 months pregnant and expecting to welcome a beautiful little boy into this world. This past Wednesday (May 25th 2022) Hunter and our friend Olivia got into a serious car accident. Hunter ended up being rushed by ambulance to the hospital to find that he broke his L4 bone in his lower back. He was transported to a bigger hospital in the city to have a L3-L5 lumbar fusion to fix his lower back. When they began the surgery they found the nerves were more damaged than we thought. He has begun physical therapy while staying in the hospital these past few nights, but is still having a hard time walking and doing basic tasks. Recovery time from a surgery like this can take 4-6 months but have life long effects on his back. Unfortunately hunter will not be able to go back to work until his back is healed. We are asking for thoughts and prayers for a smooth recovery for Hunter. We have decided to make this fundraiser to help cover house and medical bills, and any medical equipment that is needed for hunters recovery, until he can get back onto his feet.
