A bit from the organiser: Hayden is my brother and Cathie my intended sister in law, wonderful friend and Aunty to my two children who will miss her terribly too. They live in Melbourne, Australia and I have set this account up for my gorgeous niece's, Cathie and Hayden's daughters.
A fund for Indy and Charli
These two beautiful girls aged three and one recently lost their amazing young mother to cancer. Her family and friends are so heartbroken by this and know that Cathie would have given anything to be here looking after her girls. Seeking help was something Cathie hoped would never be required.
Cathie put up the most courageous fight right until the end. She will be missed by so many.
We know that she always put her girls first and had them involved in many community activities. We would love for them to grow up knowing this and be able to continue their involvement in swimming, dancing, kinder, and school. These needs may change over time and we want to ensure they have the option to be involved wherever their interests take them, and whatever they choose to pursue, just as Cathie would have wanted.
Unfortunately funding for this is made difficult as access to Australian benefits are reserved for citizens and Hayden, their father is not one yet. He had plans to marry Cathie before she was taken too soon. Hayden is considering his need to stop work so he can be at home with his children as their primary carer.
We know this is a difficult time for everyone but we also know that many of you have been looking for ways to help and support the family, so any donations towards the children's needs would be so greatly appreciated and would be the best way to support them during this difficult time. Thank you, for helping us ensure that Cathie's wishes for the girls to be well rounded people are fulfilled.
