Hi! My name is Grace and I am the happy owner of two lovely syrian hamsters. Recently, my 1 year old hamster, Forklift, has developed what may be an infection or abscess on his left hind paw. Testing needs to be done to rule out any tumors, cysts, etc. As of right now, he has been walking, eating, and using the bathroom regularly but has become stressed and chews on his enclosure, which is unusual for him.

While the lifespan of a hamster is not so long (just about two years!), he means the world to me and I would be devastated if he could not receive care.

I have included a photograph of the billing estimate for Forklift's procedure, which currently totals just about 430 USD since the ANT culture was not necessary. As this was the only vet in my area that could schedule an appointment in time to treat his growing infection, I don't have a lot of payment options and am left with this relatively large bill.

If you have a few dollars to spare, I would really appreciate any and all help. Please let me know if there is any further information that you might need.
