Funds for LGBTQ victims of Beirut's explosion
Donation protected
The Beirut explosion of August 4th left 100+ dead, 5 000+ injured & 300 000+ homeless.
The explosion is considered to be the 3rd largest explosion in the history of the human race.
It came during the corona pandemic & the worst economical crisis in the history of the country.
The Lebanese government has consistently failed at aiding the Lebanese people, who are left to fend for themselves.
We are a group of LGBTQ+ activists who have been present on the ground with the Lebanese community for the past decade (organised by: Sandra Melhem - founder of EGO Beirut).
We are currently gathering data regarding victims of the explosion that are part of the LGBTQ+ community. Testimonies are being collected as funds will be distributed accordingly. Full transparency will be provided for public records.
