funds for Marco

This fund is for our friend Marco, who passed away yesterday in Costa Rica.

Marco was italian and 27 years old. He liked to travel and was a very active person. He loved to hike and spend his freetime outside in the nature.

Marco was a volunteer in a turtle camp to save sea turtles in Costa Rica. He loved these animals and really enjoyed his time here. Just yesterday he went swimming with other volunteers, like he did many times before. He was hit by a big wave and we other volunteers did all we could do, but we couldn`t save him. He drowned in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Costa Rica. His body is still not found and the coastguards are still out searching. His family is still in Italy and neadless to say they are devastated.

We know that he doesn`t have travel insurance and we his fellow volunteers want to make sure that the costs are covered so Marco´s body can be repatriated to Italy so he may rest in peace in his home town.

Please help with whatever amount you can to help fly Marco home for the burrial he deserves. He was here to make the world a better place.
