Dear Familia- our amazing sister Marina Perez-Wong has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. As you all know Marina has always given so much to our community through her beautiful art as well as her beautiful spirit. It is now that we must give back to her in a time of need. Her current medical leave from work does not provide very necessary monthly income while she is receiving chemotherapy. She has currently started treatments and will need support as soon as possible. Funds will go to all personal needs including rent, medical treatments, daily living expenses, alternative therapies, transportation, and many additional needs. Although financial assistance is currently the primary need there will be other ways to help soon. I know that together we can help our sister out in these hard times. Any amount is helpful- let's try to reach that goal! Feel free to share as any and all help is welcome!!
