HELP SAVE AUSTRALIA’S WILD HORSES: BRUMBIES NEED YOUR VOICE 

Margaret Wood here,  I'm on a mission to give Australia's iconic Brumbies a voice in the media. I am raising funds for a powerful PR campaign. 

This campaign will expose the truth about the inhumane slaughtering of Brumbies in Kosciuszko National Park.

 

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP 

The government, Parks NSW, and the Invasive Species Council (ISC) have launched a PR campaign portraying the slaughter of Brumbies as necessary and humane. 

This has unfortunately swayed public opinion.

Brumby advocates lack the resources to compete.

We need a professional campaign that includes:

 Targeted press releases: Reaching the right journalists with compelling stories.

 Articulate spokespeople: Media-savvy representatives to effectively communicate our message. 

Strategic media outreach: Engaging journalists and securing coverage across various platforms.

   

THE POWER OF PUBLIC AWARENESS

A well-run campaign can:

Generate public sympathy for Brumbies.

Challenge the narrative of a "humane" cull.

Showcase the disturbing reality of the slaughtering practices.

WE NEED TO BE HEARD

The media currently portrays Brumby advocacy groups as a “fragmented fringe group of extremist nutters”.

This undermines our credibility and the Brumbies' plight.

A professional PR campaign will ensure those advocating for Brumbies are taken seriously.

It will:

Craft a clear and compelling message: We'll present our arguments in a way that resonates with the public.

 Build trust with journalists: We'll develop strong relationships with media professionals, fostering accurate reporting.

 Control the narrative: We'll proactively share our perspective, countering misinformation. 

INITIAL FUNDING GOAL: $15,000

With your help, we can secure a 3-month professional PR campaign. This will allow us to effectively counter the misinformation campaign and ensure the Brumbies' story reaches a wider audience.

We're close to finalizing the details of a contract with a highly qualified PR firm.

They understand our objectives and have a proven track record of securing local, national, and even international media coverage.
