Funds for Tanner Fricke
Donation protected
25 year old Tanner Fricke was at work on December 26th when he had a seizure . 911 was called and he was taken by ambulance to United Hospital in St. Paul. After many tests to find out why his seizure happened, the doctors discovered a tumor the size of an egg on his right front brain. Tanner had surgery the next day and doctors feel they removed all of the tumor. His diagnosis is Low grade level 2 Glioma. Non cancerous! He remained in intensive care until January 3rd. He was then moved to rehab where he was a star pupil!
Tanner was able to come home on Monday January 7th. He is unable to drive for 3 months. Cathy will take him to many follow up doctor appointments and rehab sessions. His tumor affected his left side of his body and rehab is working with him to strengthen that side. Keeping a close eye on him is essential for a bit so Cathy will take unpaid time off of work to care for Tanner. Donations would help to cover Tanner's out of pocket premium's and copays . This type of tumor will need continuing follow up physical examinations, MRI scans and seizure medication to keep track of his recovery in the upcoming months and years ahead. Consider donating to help the Fricke family.
