Funds for the Dixons to bring injured niece home

Hi, my name is Leah and I am family friends with Jed and Steph Dixon. I am creating this fundraiser to help their family prepare to bring their 16-year-old Niece home after she tragically lost her Mother in a car accident. This past Monday, Jed and Steph found out that Jed's sister Erin and niece were in a car accident.

They were in the process of moving and taking a trip from one house to the other. A quick drive on a dirt road. There was a slick muddy spot on the road. Erin lost control of the car, and it flipped several times. Tragically Erin was killed on impact. Erin's daughter is in the hospital with a fractured spine and neck but she will be released soon for Jed and Steph to bring her home to Colorado, where she will live with them moving forward, as they are her Guardians of Kin.

Not only did their niece lose her mother, but she also lost all of her personal belongings as that is what was being moved when this accident happened. All monies raised will go towards helping Jed and Steph replenish all items from socks to clothing, future school supplies, bedroom and bathroom necessities, medical needs and everything else we haven't even thought of yet.

It’s been an incredibly difficult time for their family. They are all trying to figure out how life works with this new normal. There are so many things to figure out. We will be posting updates as we have them. Please keep their family in your prayers and hug your loved ones a little tighter today.
