Funds for Wong Wong's Cataract Surgery

Hi, my name is Yvonne and I'm currently fundraising for my dog's cataract surgery.

My miniature poodle Wong Wong has been a strong and inextinguishable light in my life for the last 7 years. About a year ago, he had been diagnosed with diabetes and shortly after started developing cataracts in his eyes. Cataracts are a condition in which the lens of the eyes becomes non-transparent which results in blurred or loss of vision.

What I would like more than anything is for his recovery with the support of anyone and everyone who can provide for him. He has grown scared and fearful of his environment and I cannot imagine what he must be feeling without his ability to see.

After discussing with the ophthalmologist, we have the option of regaining his sight for one eye or both eyes, depending on the amount that we can afford. They have told me that this would be a costly treatment as the surgery alone would cost $10,000.

Wong Wong and I both would greatly appreciate your support through this journey in hopes to restore his vision.
