Funds To Shelter The Homeless During The Cold

Hi friends, family, neighbors, and community of San Marcos! I pray and hope all of you have been safe, healthy, sheltered, and taken care of through this pandemic. As we know, this pandemic has hit many of us hard, in which some people have lost everything and become homeless.  In our recent P.I.T. count, we discovered to no surprise that our homeless population has grown from last year to this year. As you are all aware, this week we will see record low temperatures with possible sleet, ice, and snow on some days. This is why I am coming to you today to ask for donations to house our homeless community in motels during these cold times. It really makes me sad that we have to start a Go-Fund-Me to raise money to house our homeless community because we can do better on a city and county level, but we are at a time of swift actions and donations. Please, please, please donate whatever you have to help house our homeless community, and stay safe, warm, and don't forget to bring the pets in during these cold times.
