Funds to support Lisa, Pat and the boys

Hi Friends,

I know many of us are chomping at the bit for ways to help Lisa and her family as she continues to heal from the stroke she had on December 17th. We finally convinced Pat to let us set up this Go Fund Me. Pat was hesitant because they are in a good financial situation, and he wants to make it clear that funds raised will go towards things for Lisa's comfort (like a chair, massage etc). He really doesn't want people to feel obligated to donate. That being said, they will have expenses to adapt their home so Lisa can get around easier, loss of income for an unknown period of time, medical bills and temporary housing expenses.

Specifically, Pat wants to focus on ADA access to the backyard from their bedroom. This will include redoing the fountain area outside their bedroom so she can have easy (and beautiful!) access to the backyard. A ramp will also need to be installed at the front of the house. There are also other plans for fixing up the back yard so it can be a beautiful sanctuary for Lisa to enjoy. Here is a link to her CaringBridge site where you can stay up to date on projects
