Funeral & Additional Costs for the Williams Family
Donation protected
On Tuesday, October 22nd, the world lost a beautiful soul. James ‘Jim’ Joseph Williams III peacefully passed away at the age of 61. Jim was married to his late wife Tina Louise Williams for 23 years, fathering two amazing children; Luke Williams (21) and Emma Williams (18). The Williams family is a well-known family not only in Fredon but in Sussex County as a whole. Jim owned his own construction business ‘Sticks and Stones Construction’ where he artistically thrived in designing and constructing builds. Jim was always willing to use his talents to his advantage and lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Whether it be a construction project or just a contact, Jim always had the answer.
The Williams have been involved in Cougar Athletics since his children were young, from baseball to football to lacrosse, Luke and Emma were raised around the community of athletics. Luke graduated from Kittatinny Regional High School in 2021 and continued his academic education at Albright College, studying criminology. He is a senior on the men's lacrosse team and previously played on the school's football team. Emma graduated from Kittatinny Regional High School in 2024 and is studying psychology at Centenary University, where she is a first-year student.
The world losing a soul like Jim Williams is difficult, as he lit up any room he walked in with a joke and a smile. He would go a mile for anyone and ask for nothing in return. The gift of giving was Jim's main goal in life, whether it be working for his family or making sure everyone got their burger cooked to their liking.
Since the passing of their father as well as their mother in 2023, Luke and Emma have been planning services to honor their father while processing the weight of this situation. While being assisted by Jim’s mother, Marie Zoeller, Jims's sisters, Tami Westra and Debbie Nannery and other close kin, we are asking the community to come together to assist in funeral and additional costs to bear the financial burden on the family. Any amount and all donations are beyond appreciation. Please share this link on your Facebook, Instagram or anywhere possible as we give Jim the service he deserves.
Memorial visitation hours will be held Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home. The address is 63 High Street, Newton, New Jersey, 07860, followed by a memorial service beginning at 3:30 P.M.
This GoFundMe was created by Luke's lacrosse teammates at Albright College. We appreciate everyone's donations and shares.
