With a heavy and sad heart, I prepare this GoFundMe for my grandmother, Shirley Trammell, as she is about to put to rest another child. She has lost a husband, her oldest son, her middle son, and now her youngest son. This woman has dedicated her life to her children, some needing her more than others, but she loves them all and would do anything for them. Unfortunately, she is a mother who barely gets along on a day-to-day basis with the funds that she brings into her home. Losing a child is never easy, but it makes a person’s life a whole lot harder when they cannot afford to put them to rest. She had pretty much taken care of John his entire life. At 43 years old, he lived with his mother and his brother, and they helped each other navigate through life the best they could, barely making enough money between them to sustain the household. Here we are with the holidays upon us and not looking forward to being one less family member and dealing with this financial situation that my grandmother finds herself in once again. This is my uncle. He was born two weeks after me. I grew up with him until I moved to Florida. He was fun, wild, and had way more energy than anybody else I ever knew, and he will be missed. I know we are so close to the holidays and everybody is already facing their own financial situations, but if you can spare even five dollars, every bit will help my grandmother in this time of loss.
