Alissa was the kindest person anyone could have known. Her heart was bigger than she could handle. Throughout her young life she suffered and battled with depression. She unfortunately lost the battle. The most important thing in Alissa’s life was her daughter, Melody. When Melody was born it put hope back into her life. It gave her more of a reason to fight her battle, but the battle became too much. A 21 year old mother is gone forever and a child will grow up without her mother because depression and mental illness is real and it kills. We need to make more awareness to this and pay closer attention to mental health! Please help to fund the costs of funeral arrangements and college funds/savings for the future of her daughter.
